1. Time Management
- The preliminary exam of IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I is qualifying in nature but in order to be eligible for the second phase of this exam, you need to clear the sectional as well as an overall cutoff.

- You need to divide the 45 minutes that will be allotted for prelims carefully between the 2 sections, in order to clear cut offs of both levels.

5. Regular Self Analysis

- Syllogism questions should be practised based on new as well as the old pattern. Although the possibility of new pattern based questions being asked in the Prelims phase is less, still, you should know how to solve such questions.
- Same goes for Coding- Decoding topic as well. If practised well, this topic will easily fetch you 4-5 marks in the exam.
- Blood Relations and Direction based questions are also easy topics of the Reasoning section. First, understand how to solve questions of Blood relations and direction sense, and then begin your practice. Try to solve blood relations based puzzle questions as well.
- Questions from Alphanumeric Series/ Alphabet test are often asked in RRB Exams. These topics are less time taking and can be easily attempted.
