Mr. Kumar joined us recently having left his wonderful & glittering banking career of almost Twenty eventful years, during which he worked at senior levels with proven track record and handled huge portfolios of Retail Banking, MSME, Trade finance, Retail Assets etc. Mr. Kumar, started his banking career way back in March 1999 with 'Indian Overseas Bank' (IOB) as one of the youngest probationary officers of his batch and rose to the various positions during his stay in IOB for almost 9 Years and then moved to  an another Public Sector behemoth, IDBI Bank as an 'Assistant General Manager' in December-2006 and worked there at various capacity till November-2017. Christmas, the festival of food, fun and family, is celebrated on December 25 every year. It marks the day of the birth of Jesus Christ and is celebrated by millions of people across the globe. The festival is even more special for children who look forward to decorating their Christmas trees and all the presents they would receive from Santa Claus. Excited families make sure decorations for their Christmas trees are in order.  Some families also put up Christmas stockings, lights and tinsel around their homes. Come December, many children draw out the list of presents they would want Santa to bring them on Christmas. But the festive spirit of Christmas isn't just for children alone. In India, frequent disagreements and discussion on majority-minority issues creep up creating religious and political disharmony. Human Rights Day  is celebrated annually across the world on 10 December every year. The date was chosen to honour the  United Nations General Assembly 's adoption and proclamation, on 10 December 1948, of the  Universal Declaration of Human Rights  (UDHR), the first global enunciation of  human rights  and one of the first major achievements of the new  United Nations . The formal establishment of Human Rights Day occurred at the 317th Plenary Meeting of the  General Assembly  on 4 December 1950, when the General Assembly declared resolution 423(V), inviting all member states and any other interested organizations to celebrate the day as they saw fit. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Constitution of India, on his 61st death anniversary today. The day is also observed as Ambedkar 'Maha Parinirvana Diwas'. Thousands of followers converged at his memorial in Chaitya Bhoomi where Maharashtra Chief Minister and Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao were also present.
